Abbey Vehicle Rental Ltd has been around since May 1st 1995, having been through many changes, we feel it is now better than ever before.

Since its days trading out of Romsey in Porterbridge Street, we have now moved closer to Southampton Airport with our storage site ideally situated at Stoneham Lane, just a few yards from the M27 and Southampton Airport, making car, van and minibus hire even easier.

Previous owner Tony Abbott created a new concept in vehicle rental, a friendly, professional and personal service unrivalled by any other hire company. His vision made AVR what it is today and the business has continued in his footsteps, we still give that great service, we do not add on hidden extras and we always quote the full price.

Our motto still remains "The price you see, is the price you pay"

We have continuously served the Channel Islands for many years, with its residents forming a large percentage of our customer base and we have been successfully growing in the local area with more car, van and minibuses hires than ever before.

Our cars are all new and modern and always clean and well maintained.

Our Commercial fleet is also well maintained and covered with nationwide breakdown assistance.
