In summary: 

A. The Hirer and any driver shall ensure that the vehicle will not be used: 

1. for hire and reward 
2. for racing, pace-making, rallying, speed testing, driving tuition or similar purposes or for propelling or towing any vehicle, trailer or other object. 
3. in any manner which might render void the insurance policy, or other contract of insurance. 
4. or any illegal purpose or in contravention of any legislation affecting the vehicle, its use or construction 
5. outside England, Wales or Scotland without prior written consent of the Lessor 
6. by any person who: 

• is not licensed to drive the vehicle 
• is under 21 years of age or over 75 
• is under the influence of drink or drugs 
• has given a fictitious name, age or address 
• has not been approved by the lessor as a driver 
• has been convicted of a motoring offence the details of which have not been disclosed in writing to the Lessor at the commencement of the hire 

B. The Hirer agrees to pay on demand: 

1. rental charges 
2. any appropriate excess waiver or personal accident, personal effects or goods in transit insurance fees, and any refueling and miscellaneous charges. 
3. the excess amount in respect of each incident resulting in damage to or loss of the vehicle, its accessories or any property left stored or transported in or upon the vehicle.
4. all fines and court costs incurred in relation to the vehicle by the Hirer or Lessor from the commencement of the rental until the vehicle is returned to the Lessor, except where caused through the fault of the Lessor. 
5. any value added tax, local or other taxes payable in respect of any of the above. 

C. The Hirer shall compensate the Lessor in full on demand for any loss suffers as a result of any damage, fire or theft to or of the vehicle including loss of revenue to the Lessor for the period during which the vehicle shall remain unavailable for rental by reason of such matters and any claims made by any persons in respect of the vehicle whilst it is in the Hirers custody. This clause applies whether you have insurance or not. 

D. Even if an excess waiver fee is paid, the Hirer shall be responsible for payment of any excess amount where the loss of or damage to the vehicle or its accessories arises from the negligent or willful action of the Hirer or any driver. 

E. The lessor will not allow any Hirer rent any vehicle if the following penalty points are on there licence: 

1. any DD from date of conviction for 11 years 
2. any DR from date of conviction for 11 years 
3. any LC from date of conviction for 4 years 
4. TT from date of conviction for 4 years 
5. XX from date of conviction for 4 years 
6. CD40, CD50, CD60 and CD70 from date of conviction for 4 years 

F. Rental insurance does not cover any tyre damage, roadside callout or replacement tyres or any glass repair or replacement.The Hirer is fully liable for any costs relating to these listed items. If a tyre needs replacing, it must be replaced with an identical make/brand

G. It is illegal to smoke in a hire car and an immediate charge of £100 will be taken from the authorized payment card used for the booking. 

H. The carriage of animals is strictly prohibited in any of our vehicles without prior authorization. Any soiling, damage or pet hair requiring a valet will be charged at a minimum of £100. If authorization has been granted pets may only be carried using a transportation cage or travel basket to avoid any valet charges. Please be aware you will be fully liable for any cleaning charges resulting from any evidence of animal transportation and you should always ensure the vehicle is left in the same condition as delivered after any pets have been in the vehicle. 

I. Common charges (excluding VAT) 

1. Parking non toll payment or driving offences £50 admin fee (this charge is in addition to any fines)
2. Alloy wheel damage min £50 per wheel
3. Bumper corner scuff min £85
4. Abortive delivery or collection £50
5. Lost key min £250
6. Scratch to paintwork over 2" min £30
7. Smoking in vehicle £100
8. Valet charge for animal hair, damage or soiling minimum £100
9. Repossession of vehicle min £250
10. Windscreen chip £35

All other charges are costed accordingly.

J. If whilst on hire, payment can not be taken, the lease period will revert to the commercial rate for that vehicle before discounts, if applicable were applied, for the period payment hasn't been made, 

K. Any unauthorized extension will be charged at the commercial rate for that vehicle before discounts, if applicable were applied, for the duration of the unauthorized extension.

L. Lost property will be held for a maximum of 14 days, after this time it will be properly disposed of.

M. We will on request supply car seats or booster seats (pending availability), it is the complete responsibility for the hirer to ensure the seat is secure and properly fitted, we are not liable for any incidents which arise from malfunction or poor fitting. If in any doubt please provide and fit your own child seats or booster seats.

N. We are not liable for any missed departure, event or costs, arising from of any breakdown, traffic congestion, late delivery or adverse weather.

O. In all cases the signed hire agreement will constitute authority to debit the nominated payment card with the total due, plus any administration charges, extensions or additional charges resulting from the rental.
